Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino del Norte app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.
Get the appIf you rely on road signs to know where you are, Penaflor will confuse you -- it's signed twice, once before the bridge and again after. The bar is the one before the bridge. The town itself sits on the far side of the river. From here the camino ducks under the railway and follows quieter tracks through to Grado.
The camino leaves the main roads and crosses underneath the railway in Peñaflor, and will cross back over them at the outskirts of Grado.

Perfect place to recharge. Was feeling sore and tired but after a drink and tortilla felt much better about the last stretch to Grado.

LOVED stopping here. No breaky so I was very much looking forward to coffee & more. Had the pilgrims special meal - SO good. A lot of love here.
