The camino has returned to its original route, which goes downhill from here. Where the camino meets the road, an information board confirms your options -- descend to the left along the old access road.

To clarify, go left, uphill. There’s a lovely private donativo a few km past this that you will miss if you go right. I wish I had stayed there!
