Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Vía de la Plata app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

A hamlet between Ponte Campaña and Leboreiro. A small albergue and bar may operate. The walking is easy, through Galician farmland.

After walking the complete Camino Frances, from Sarria on the crowds come and the Camino feels like Disneyworld. Stay in the small villages like this where there are small Albergue’s that no one stops at. Very tranquil, but read the guides. Few restaurants and some close early due to no business after mid afternoon when the tourons move ahead. Plan your stay accordingly. Grab something to prepare in a big town before you arrive.Best nights sleep because only a few are wise to stay. Give these small villages the business, this is what the hospitalero is all about. Solely for our needs. Without us they would have no customers.

This is the first cafe on the right as you enter the aldea of Casanova, which other people have mentioned. Completely agree with positive comments. Stopped here this morning at just before 7am and had the best tostada with jamón, olive oil and fresh tomato slices. Great way to start the day. Looks like a lovely family business with young daughter and son helping. Very friendly, highly recommended.

The first cafe on the right as you enter Casanova serves the best breakfast we have eaten since leave St Jean 5 weeks ago. Fresh tomato on lovely thick toast with olive oil and sprinkling of salt. Perfect on a cold and wet morning
