Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Vía de la Plata app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Nothing says you have to stop here, or there. These are simply the towns within a comfortable day's walk, so you can decide tonight.
A hamlet between Arzúa and Salceda. No services.

Dinner was delicious salad (including mango cubes) salmon packets with couscous, and melon for dessert. Heidi laundered our day’s clothes as part of our stay and provided complimentary tea and coffee. It was our first tea with milk in 24 days as it had been easier to buy coffee with milk in Spain. Using a sheer red curtain between bathroom and bunk room was good as people get a red light instead of white light when people left early or visited the toilet at night. The only thing negative I can think of is the wifi in the kitchen wasn’t strong and the lights in the bunk room occasionally flickered. Everything else about our stay was perfect.

Run I n the true spirit of the Camino. Snug farmhouse, cool cats, very welcoming. Delicious communal dinner and I slept like a baby. Quite small, reserve in advance via WhatsApp, and be sure to cancel if you don’t stay so another pilgrim can have a place.

We arrived soaking wet, and was very welcomed by Rolf, who served us hot tea and took care of all our wet gear. He washed our clothes, dried our shoes, served us delicious food, and even drove us to the doctor in Arzua next day. Everything was so well organised, nice room and cosy kitchen with fireplace! We can highly recommend this place!
Thank you so much, Rolf !

As soon as we arrived we felt at home. Heidi & Rolf care for each person individually. Heidi helped me with an injury & was so kind and caring. The bathroom was a big rain shower, warm water & so spacious. Dorm room was small & intimate with table & chairs, books & beautiful sheets and blankets. After a fantastic group meal of creamy zucchini soup, turkey & tomato stew with rice & chocolate mouser we all said we slept so well, Their food & hospitality and garden & doing our washing for us, 100/100 from me

We booked this for one of our stop. No regret even though Arzua is a bigger town. Very quiet and beautiful place. Wisepilgrim states that opening time is 1pm. Luckily we asked Heidi and confirm that is is 2 pm. We arrive around 2:30pm and Heidi put us in a room with a bunk bed. Small but super comfortable. Only thing is that the bath and shower in the main building which is not a problem because it wasn’t that cold. There are cats, dogs and chickens on the property and lots of apple trees. Dinner is served at 7 pm. It was simple and yet delicious with pumpkin soup, turkey meat cooked in gravel and rice. Would recommend this if you want something different.

We were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful albergue, all restored by Heidi and her husband Rolf. Heidi has walked the Camino many times, once from Austria. The couple have beautiful animals, especially John Boy, a very silly stray who has become part of the family. Dinner was plentiful and great quality.
