I had a great time here swimming in the pool and relaxing in the sun. Carlos was kind enough to give me eggs from the chicken house. He is very creative
with the personalised stamp. I am grateful for the the fabulous experience. Thank you for your hospitality

I love the stamps he makes it so personal. The place is also really lovely and there’s a pool expected to complete in 2 weeks. There’s a kitchen here as well complete with utensils and hot water. He’s a good man with a good heart, do support this albergue, we need more places like this.

Fabulous hostel, I stayed in the dorm a few days ago, so clean, quirky, lovely space. Fabulous host who made amazing stamps, truly invested.

Really nice place to stay. Carlos was so lovely when we arrived. The chicken restaurant across the road is definitely worth visiting.

Schöne Herberge mit Mehrbett und Einzelzimmern. Sehr sehr netter Gastgeber und ein wunderbarer Stempel (aus Siegelwachs). Ein Café direkt gegenüber und nebenan ein Restaurant mit rustikalem, aber guten Essen.
Morgens kann man frühstücken (zu jeder Uhrzeit). Es steht alles in der Küche bereit.

Mein Einzelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad hat 15€ plus 3€ Frühstück gekostet.

This is a great place to stay! The lodging is good, the hospitality is fantastic! The host, Carlos, goes out of his way to make tour stay memorable. The custom stamp is worth the cost of the bed.

Got a private room for 15€ (2.5€ breakfast optional). Shared bathroom. Room was large, clean, and the owner was awesome.

Bardzo dobra obsługa właściciela. Dobre warunki. Czysto ale konieczne byłoby malowanie ścian. Kilka łazienek - bez kolejek rano. Za rogiem dwie restauracje - tanie. Spałem w niedzielę - brak czynnego sklepu. Jedyny supermarket czynny w niedzielę jest przed miastem przy stacji benzynowej. Idąc do albergue najlepiej zrobić zakupy.

May 2022: Had a lovely double room with own separate bathroom (luxury!) for €13.50 plus €2.50 breakfast. Clean if a little worn - but what do you want for €13.50?!
Lovely friendly host who did a fantastic credential stamp with a wax seal etc. The relaxed, friendly feel made this place one of our favourite so far.
Good little bar over the road, cheap tasty fried chicken round the corner (good food but rude owners - even the server was embarrassed!). Other places nearby.
Highly recommend.

02 2020. The hosts are very friendly. The bathroom still needs a refurbishment though and maybe bit of cleaning, but there was hot water and plenty of it.

Its small and little bit old, but Carlos and his stamps are wonderfull. Three also café around corner "quintinha" wee you can have dinner - huge meal 5 euros. And also vege is possible. Stop there for rest.

28/07/19 - €11.50 for accom in shared rooms (no bunks) and optional €2.50 for breakfast available from 5am. There is wifi but it’s a bit patchy. You can hand wash and hang your clothes outside the kitchen. Can definitely recommend Loja dos frangos around the corner for a late lunch (closes at 5pm and open even on Sundays!). Serves delicious roast chicken with rice and salad for cheap.

Carlos is an outstanding host. Very thoughtful touches at check in.

Was under construction to renovate the bathroom and the kitchen (last day of work when I was there). Wifi, heating, hot water. The host is worth a visit :)

Euro11.50/person no wifi no washer, laundry is downstairs and a seperate business. euro7.5/person
