I was grateful they still had a bed as the town was overrun with school groups. A group did stay here but it was not disruptive. Owner was very accommodating and kind. Good choice.

Sing in for a night, just manage to take a shower after long walk and a crowd of loud kids came in, around 30+ ppl.
Ask owner for refund, he immediately demanded what i can get out ... without any refund.
I offered to pay for a shower, but not for a bed. Answer was the same: Get out now!
I sad what will write bad reviews on this Alberge, and only after this get my money back.
Dont recommend this place.

This albergue is now open. We stayed here 5/28/23. The wifi is good. Clean sheets and pillowcases. They even gave us blankets in case we needed them. The lady was so nice. I had a migraine and she was offering medicine to help. There’s a small kitchen area w microwave we used. Also have washer and dryer available for 4 euros each. Hand wash and air dry available as well. There was not many people that night so it felt as if we had the place to ourselves. They have a bar downstairs with full menu. I highly recommend albergue Meson de Benito.

The albergue has opened again. We stayed at the pension across the street, but got the pilgrim menu at the albergue. The food was delicious, and the staff was so friendly. They actually ran after me on the street in the afternoon, when they realized they took too much for a couple of beverages earlier that day
