Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Vía de la Plata app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Clean and organized, not very friendly

Jesus, the man who runs the albergue, is not the friendliest guy on the Camino. Check-in was rushed and lacked welcome. The dorms themselves were nice. We stayed in a room with 2 bunks (4 beds), lockers, cubbies and sockets by each bed. The noise from the bar downstairs was loud, but nothing earplugs couldn’t handle. There is no outdoor laundry drying area, but the drying racks are situated between two windows with a strong cross-breeze and almost all of our stuff dried by bedtime.

A hotel like reception with just the facts check-in. Clean, bunks with curtains and lockers that lock for 1€.
Warm water push button showers.
Small hand sink for laundry. But HUGE industrial sized washer dryer for 4€ each. Can fit 3-4 Pilgrims washing at a time if you want to sort sock and undies after.

Super awesome people

We were able to request a room for the three of us last min. The rooms were clean and had curtains for each bunk to pull to help with shade. Each bunk had its own plug and light. Lots of ventilation. By accident we left our medication at the last albergue in Portomarin and the meat deliver man drove over and picked it up and refused to be paid. All very very nice. Highly recommended place!!!!
