Camino Portugués App

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Portugués app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Hidden gem : Restaurant Alfar cocina traditional

Na onze Camino kwamen we terecht bij Al Faar Restaurant en wat een verborgen parel bleek dat te zijn.

Review (English):

“Such a hidden gem just off the Camino! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better after a long walking day. A perfect place to relax, enjoy great food. If you are walking the Camino, definitely make a stop here: highly recommended!”

New Beach Bar......yay! Just after the big bridge.

Walk under the big bridge, and there Is an oasis.....
A lovely beach Bar brand new this week.
On this hot day it was wonderful to sit and ponder the wonderful views sipping my Aquarius nibbling a tapa of mussels....
The young crew made it all work!

The bridge is closed just go by the gestation

The Camino for no good reason makes a loop through town (probably to get income for the city) rather than going the faster way to the gas station. If you just go that way you can still see the shops and avoid the unnecessary detour that will take you to the same place. The bridge is closed but the detour is on the side of it. While pretty, I would skip.
