Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Inglés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.
Get the appNeda sits at the bottom of the Ría de Ferrol where the river meets the estuary, and it's a natural stopping point about 15 km from Ferrol. The municipal albergue is well-situated in the park along the river, and several bars line the road above and behind it.
The town has Roman-era roots and is known locally for its bread-making tradition — if you arrive during the Festa do Pan, you're in luck. The Puente de Piedra (Roman bridge) and the Cascada de Belelle waterfall are worth a detour if you have the energy. Basic services: bars, small shops. No pharmacy or ATM — sort those out in Ferrol or wait for Pontedeume.
Festa do Pan (Bread Festival) — check locally for dates.
Neda's origins go back to Roman times, and the stone bridge in town is a testament to that. The Iglesia de Santa María dates to the 12th century. For a small town, it punches above its weight in history.
From Neda the path continues along the estuary through Fene and on to Cabanas. The terrain is gentle and mostly flat, following the water. About 14 km to Pontedeume.

This is a house with a little kitchen and lounge area with a large garden beside a pretty stream. We lived our stay here. Very comfortable. The host was very organized and checkin easy. Even had a storage spot for correos to pick up bags.

We had one splashout night on our pilgrimage and this was it, encouraged by the reviews here. I think it was the loveliest place I have ever stayed.
Ps the pork cheek dinner was exceptional too, as was our young woman host.

It's a small albergue and it's not exactly in Neda. It's quite well-equipped: in the kitchen there's a fridge, stove, and utensils. The shower water comes out warm, there's free wifi. It also has a washing machine and dryer. They give you disposable sheets.
You can come and go whenever you want.
As a drawback: there are few outlets, and they're located near the first bunk beds.
The receptionist was very friendly.

The route on the app, does not match up with the physical route and way markers on the route. The way markers take you through the town it’s self, which is what I did. The app wants to fall the coastal line which is very scenic but not the official route.
The Albergue was clean and to a good standard. However, the host didn’t arrive until after 8pm. Do call or WhatsApp the host when you arrive. The telephone should be on the reception window. It is easy to find, cross the bridge and it’s on the right side.

This albergue is as other say, not in Neda. Neda is further along. As soon as you cross the bridge from Naron and head into town it will be on your right. There are two bridges, a nice one with a roof that leads right to the albergue, and the official route one which takes you past a large magnolia tree into town. You probably saw the albergue from across the water, it’s a single story yellow building. Free laundry, free wifi, clean beds, brochures, hot showers, etc. You have to be checked out by 8am. €10.

I also visited El Rincon de Adri, the food was OK, also liked by locals, and it was open on Sunday
From the Albergue within walking distance towards Naron, worth to mention Excelsior or Restaurant Urimare

O Rincón do Trini, a out 1.7 k back across the bridge in Naron. We haven’t quite adjusted to the l’amateur dinner times here. We’d not really had lunch, just snacked on the walk and erre famished by 5 but no pls e was open for dinner till 8. I googled restaurants again and found Rincon, saying open till 11;30. I called to be sure and in really stilted Spanish asked « Abierta? Servienda comida? He said “Si” and I was so excited! We walked there and not only were we served good food, but they were so glad to tell us about various dishes, serve us a specialty fish appetizer

It is a block over from the river once you’ve crossed over, between the 2 bridges. We missed it and continued on because the app showed NEDA as farther along—and had to backtrack for about half an hour when we realized we’d passed it. (Using Google maps to find it).
