Get the appAt the far end of A Lastra keep to the left, along the oncoming exit road, and just before it returns to the main road turn left uphill towards the houses. The climb continues steeply uphill for a gain of about 150m and the last part rejoins the road as it enters Fontaneira.

At a bit after 5 pm, the bar was open and clearly a gathering for locals. Cold Aquarius for 2.20 … hits the spot after the climb on a 30° day.

We arrived at the bar at 17:30 and it was closed... No water left and my broken knee won't make it to O Cadabo. We rang the bell next door, but no one opened, even though you could hear people sitting inside near the doors.
