Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino del Norte app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.
Get the appFrom Paradavella the camino follows a trail to the right of the road and crosses it to descend into the village of Calzada (meaning road). The next village, also without services, is Degolada. The camino keeps to the south of the road along the path and eventually climbs up to rejoin it as it enters A Lastra.

After a long slog in the rain, La TaBerna was a much needed respite. The coffee and food were fantastic!

Especially after the beauty on top of the prior hill, and then the long hike down, this place is an awesome break. On a sunny day, grab a seat outside. The tortilla is amazing. And the orange juice is very fresh.

A very welcome surprise when we already got hungry from the walk downhill. It is such lovely place with some great food. And Michael serves also fruit salads!
