This albergue is fine if you come with low expectations. For 8euros you will get a bunk bed with plastic matress, no sheets, great hot shower, kitchen with no salt, sugar or oil for cooking, nice hanging out area and outside seating. Supermarkets is across the street. There is a sign "no alcohol ", but it doesn't seem to be enforced and they want you gone by 8 am.

Dia 23 de Maio de 2023 escolhemos ficar no Albergue S Teotónio, ficsndo pela 1a vez num albergue público. Sendo albergue público a entrada é por ordem de chegada. Abre as 13h.
Muito perto há supermercado com farmacia.
Edifício com alguns anos a precisar de algumas obras mas com condições aceitaveis. Wcs ja têm muitas necessidades de obras e está nastabte danificado. Tem zona para kavar e secar roupa. Dispõe de wi-fi.
O quarto é coletivo e isso implica barulho e despertares noturnos.
Dispõe de cozinha sendo possível cozinhar.
Nas redondezas há serviços, restaurantes etc. Vale a penz visitar esta pequena cidade .

It’s functional, clean beds, showers and toilets, outside space to dry stuff and opposite a supermarket. Plenty of indoor social space but kitchen small and dirty with many flies!!!

Worst albergue of the entire Camino so far. It's cheap and you get a bed, but the mean owner (the woman) comes in and ushers you out to the street at 8 in the morning, in the rain. Kitchen is pathetic and depressing, both the microwave and the stove are broken

The man who runs this place is very sweet and gave us a private room because I am walking with my 4 year old son. For the same price as the regular bed. It was very kind. And it had a bath :)

The host was nice and friendly. Great location, right next to a with a big supermarket. Bunk beds are OK but the pillow is awful 😂. Still a pretty good albergue overall

I arrived as the first and later turned out only guest. The nice host Maria ‘upgraded’ me to a ‘small room’ with two beds with my own shower and bath!! A great treat for sore muscles 😁🙏🏽

On 30 of april when the nights are still cold we couldnot get a blanket. Be aware of that.

On 14/04/19, actually opened at 14:00. Good location, right by fortress and supermarket. All beds come with a blanket and has kitchen facilities.

Good location right across from the Teotónio fort. Spacious common areas. Bunk area was comfortable. Showers are small for a big guy, but ALL showers on the Camino are small. Heat was on and appreciated in February. 5€ price. Highly recommended.
