Don’t be too confident even after a thorough check - I checked all the crevices of the dorm bunk with a flashlight after seeing reviews for this place and did not see the telltale signs. Sat on the bed after sunset on top of my silk liner, and saw one large bedbug emerge from the bedframe. After getting up saw that a number of small ones had come out onto the mattress. The owner was kind about it, but it derailed my plans for the next day nonetheless.

The owner kinda manages both the restaurant and the albergue so he’s kinda busy so do expect him to be abit slower to reply you. But he makes up for it in his kindness and generosity and hospitality. I love the place it’s so clean and the shower is good. Pilgrim meals are good and provided for a Sunday! 20 euros per person as per today. 10 euros with meal. Worth it!

The restaurant albergue combine is an excellent stop for the day. On Sundays lunch, seems like the entire town is here and the menu special. I missed out on the octupus but lucked out on the suing pig. Very flavorful. Victor is warm and solicitous but can get very busy but he gets back to you. Highly recommended.

Got up at 2 am because I felt something bite me. Then, I checked the bed and found both small and big bedbugs. I managed to kill five of them.

This albergue is in a new building. Bathroom, beds with privacy curtains, shoe open lockers and the restaurant are all new. The food in the restaurant is okay. A menu is 8€ and the portions are abundant.
I probably took the shower while the kitchens restaurant was preparing the meals as the water from the shower was constantly going away and coming back.
The price is 12,50€ per night.
Hosts were not so nice, but understandable they had a lot of stress with all the people they need to serve.
Wifi is very good, password: “compostela”

Super clean, very nice albergue, right on the Camino - €12.50. Only Portuguese or French spoken; not a problem as many of us pilgrims could interpret for each other.
Bunks have curtains for privacy and own plug socket. Private double isn’t cheap, €40 for the room, but is lovely and I think good value.
Dinner can be provided for €9 and is delicious and includes wine, beer and soft drinks. We arrived after a big party in the restaurant and we had to eat early before the cook went home. The staff were exhausted but the host was very kind and helpful.
They shut the next day so no breakfast available.
