Camino del Norte app

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino del Norte app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Super nice

A bit expensive but lovely beds and breakfast. It's up a hill to get there but cool Interior x

OK

Comfy beds but accepting everybody

It‘s a surfer hostel …

… and these surfers are „too cool“ for us „weird pilgrims“. My bed was smelling and there was mold in my bed. The showers are very uncomfortable and I didn‘t feel welcome. Only the other pilgrims were good. Wouldn‘t come here again.

Nice Decor

Friendly and helpful hostess who goes beyond to help all guests with information. Modern decor, comfortable bunk bed with nice duvet. You need your own towel. I saw lockers but did not need. Separate bathrooms men’s/ladies Hot showers. Great kitchen with everything you need to prepare food. We had breakfast at 7:15am before we left, yogurt, toast with jam and cornflakes coffee/tea.

Good information

Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast!
Good information passed in the evening about the Camino!

12. September 2024 - 11:28

Oh yeah!

Enjoyed my stay here, a bit above the average places, the hostess was a super friendly lady and answered all my questions about everything. Breakfast was fine, bunk was comfortable. Showers were hot! Vending machine for snacks and drinks and an ice cream store just around the corner!

Nice albergue

I found the hostel very okay.

The interior is modern, clean, cozy. With a good kitchen (no stove), very friendly staff and okay bathrooms. The communal area is big. Outside area is cute and even a lemon tree for use.

There’s no sheets but a light sleeping bag inlay and very thick duvets.

Price was 20 euro for a bed.

Hostel Nomxda

The noisiest place I’ve stayed. It’s really too much and impossible to sleep with the noise of the common room echoing through the building past curfew.

Overpriced at €23. Showers are cold only and no privacy whatsoever.

Friendly and good location but I would never stay here again.

Book in advanced for Albergue

Unfortunately it was full when I arrived so make sure you book in advanced particularly during the summer season. I had to book a hotel instead that thankfully was still on the way at least.

Needs reservation! USE the hostel's website

The ladies running the new Hostel called Nomad are very nice. Some information shows first come first serve, but they have switched to taking reservations through their website.

Nice place, 15€ per night

Clean and nice vibes, the site says 10€, but it's actually 15€ for bed

Name has changed

The name has changed to Hostel Nomxda

6. July 2022 - 18:21

Ok

Albergue just in the historic center of the the city.

One of the “big albergues” :
- lot of people in one room
- bathroom is ok, but not very new and cozy
- i would not pay for breakfast again (2 pieces of bread, margarine and jam, coffee or tea, nothing more), better to buy something in supermarket day before

Volunteers are very kind, man (who probably run this place) is very strict. (Use the kitchen ONLY for washing dishes, you cannot borrow the knife. He will call you to go in 15 minutes before the official closing of albergue.)

May 2022

Perfectly fine albergue. Breakfast available at 4,50 but definitely not worth the money. Only 2 pieces of toast and coffee or tea. There is a couch in the common room but you’re not allowed to touch it with your (clean) feet or to put stuff on it, since the hospitalero seems to sleep on with. Weird situation going on there. You can only use the dryer if you also use the washer. Total costs for laundry 10 euros.. kind of overpriced if you ask me. For dinner go to Ñampa Zampa!!!!

20. April 2022 - 22:29

Cambio de servicios, horarios y telefono

Hola!
Gracias!

Well setup Albergue in the church building

September 21 this Albergue is open and run by a new group of volunteers. Nice sleeping room and simple separated bathrooms. No dinner or kitchen but great options in the town. Simple breakfast available
