Camino to Finisterre and Muxía App

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino to Finisterre and Muxía app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Stop here to eat

You don't need to climb the stairs as there's another bar just around the corner. Also, the camino is not the prettiest after this for a WHILE (just roads and fields, which is not nice on a hot day), so do stop here to get some rest/food. Next place to stop is Vilaserio.

BEST ALBERGUE ON THE CAMINO

Albergue Rectoral San Mamede da Pena was our favourite stay on the camino. For an authentic albergue experience, this is a must-stop! The 3-course pilgrim dinner is hearty, home cooked, and feels like being welcomed into someone’s home. We loved it so much we stayed twice on the way to Finisterre and again returning to Santiago. Highly recommend!

The Menu was €10 including

The Menu was €10 including wine and was all fresh homemade and delicious. They catered for vegetarians well. It was a communal meal at 7.30.
Later I noticed pizzas were being made in the lovely pizza oven.
Plus it was a bonus doing the hill up from Olveiroa in the light because it's really beautiful, and so it's done at the end of day one rather than the beginning of day 2.
