Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Portugués app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.
Get the appVilladesuso is a small village marked by the Hotel Glasgow at its entrance and a Repsol gas station just beyond. Services are limited to these, but the walking between here and Mougas follows the now-familiar pattern of bike/hike paths paralleling the main road, with occasional detours onto coastal trails.
The Hotel Glasgow is the first building in town, and just beyond it is a Repsol station. Just beyond that the camino crosses the main road and turns right uphill. At then end of this short road it jogs right then left again to keep on the path that is marked for bicycles. Follow this path across a river, and then take the first right uphill and away from the main road. Where this uphill climb ends, turn left. Follow this road, eyes to your left to enjoy the view and so that you can spot the turn off to the left, marked only by a yellow and a red arrow on the road itself. It merges with another path and then reaches an intersection, where a left turn takes you back down in the direction of the main road. Just a few meters short of the main road turn right on a narrow lane parallel to it, saving you a few meters of the road and keeping you on the marked bike path which eventually returns to the road, crosses the road, and continues along it. Cross the bridge into Mougas and turn left towards the sea on the first road.

Excellent place, new, clean. Curtains, plug, light in bed, sheets and blanket. Not a big cooking kitchen but has the basics. Washer, dryer or hand wash. Lots of drying lines, with clothes pins. Hammock to enjoy. Very pleased with building and design. Restaurant and conscience store very close. Excellent price. Highly recommend.

Would have been amazing if it was warmer but still a great place to stay. Very quiet and not crowded in June. Lovely space outside to sit on a lounge chair and watch the waves. Attached bar and restaurant. Tow options for pilgrims menu - 23 & 30 Euro. Not cheap but good food and lots of it. Great shower head pressure!

So happy to see this as soon as I entered town after walking a rainy day from caminha with a wet boat transfer. This is a nice hotel with good food on the premises. Right on the Camino path👍👍

Beautiful, clean, cosy, you almost touch the ocean. The owners are very kind and helpful. Worth planning the night here. It is the best alberque on our Camino.

We strongly recommend Albergue da Estrella which is new (from June 2022) and very cosy. It was one of the nicest and the most comfortable albergues we've been to.

Great place to stay! Lucia the receptionist is extremely helpful. The place is clean, the bed is comfortable. A few meters ahead there’s Costa Verde where they serve a good breakfast buffet!
