Get the appNeither Cardeñuela nor Orbaneja Riopico is remarkable for much beyond their position on the approach to Burgos. Pay attention when leaving Orbaneja — shortly outside town you'll face your first decision about how to enter the city. The choice between the river route and the road route matters more than it should.

I decided to stay in the albergue in Orbaneja to break up my journey to Burgos. Very basic.
