Another small hamlet on the descent. The vegetation thickens as you lose altitude: chestnut, oak, and the first eucalyptus trees appear.

We stopped for refreshments at Bar O Solpor.
The coffee was the best we have had so far. The staff were very friendly. The whole place was spotlessly clean and well looked after. Well worth a visit.

The sign outside the cafe says it all! If you see the sculpture of the Neanderthal,.you just passed the entrance.

One of the most pleasant coffee stops on the Camino. Coffee is top notch and there was a a good variety of pastries and snacks. Patio is cozy and the modern restroom is a 10/10. The staff is super sweet!

Airo do Camino had a mixed salad with seeds that was wonderful and very much needed after days of bread!
7. June 2025 - 12:52
Fresh homemade food that surpasses other meals on the Camino. If you see a sign reading ‘best cheesecake’, do yourself a favor and order up. The bocadillo was top tier and sizable and the gazpacho was the best I’ve had

Breakfast was flavorful and large for the price. Best breakfast yet on the trip. Highly recommend.

Excellent homemade/fresh food with alternative options. Advertises as best homemade cheesecake and in house made croquettes which are Amazing and "light". Very friendly service

Metal bunk beds, common area is a picnic table and kitchette with vending machine. No food in the “town” after 3:00 when the bar closes next door. Bring your own food, coffee, tea. Vending machine has pasta, “top ramen”, tuna, etc. No beer or wine. 13 euro on booking.com. Next time, I may keep walking.

I went there on 6/23/24 and the albergue was closed. I was told that by the people who owned the bar in town.

The owners are kind and caring. The food is to die for . Best food we have eaten all the way from St Jean pied de port . Porridge, yummy , apple cake home made still warm from the oven . Beautiful Albergue, a definite stop .

Albergue Filloval has a lovely restaurant open for breakfast and lunch (and dinner but I was only passing through). They have a large variety of food - also vegan options. I had a filling lentil soup and delicious cheesecake. They also have tortilla, pasta, salad, lasagne - lots of options! Lovely.

Quiet, cozy, peace and away from the Triacastela crowd. Absolutely love this stop!

Both the albergue and restaurant are great. Spotless, spacious and well curated - both space and menu. Best night’s sleep.

The rice pudding here is to die for!

Out of 1000 pinchos, this place has the best one. The arroz con leche (rice pudding) was also a very nice surprise. Highly recommended
