Camino to Finisterre and Muxía App

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino to Finisterre and Muxía app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Wonderful place

A wonderful albergo that offers everything a hiker needs and more... The owner is very friendly, the service is excellent, the food is also excellent. The albergo is peaceful, you can sleep well. I recommend everyone to take a break and continue the journey rested.

A casa do boi 👍

A great place to stay, not just by Camino standards. And unlike most hostels further down the camino selling 2 pieces of bread and two small plastic containers of marmelade for 6 eur, here you can get proper food in the morning.

Heavenly - A Casa do Boi albergue cafeteria

Travelled Pardon out on route to Fisterra. Did not want to stay in Santiago. Stubbled in this gem late afternoon. It is stunning. Best place I have stayed and I have done total Norte route. Must be seen to be appreciated. Hosts are wonderful. Camino delivers

A Casa de Bois

Lovely Auberge. Really enjoyed the pilgrim eve meal. Great drinks from the bar and a warm welcome. Comfy beds.

A Casa Do Boi

Great albergue, it’s a real oasis. I decided to spend the night here instead of the busy Santiago, and it was the right choice! The food was good, dinner is at 19.00 (€12,50) and breakfast from 6:30.

Albergue A Casa Do Boi

Great albergue. Price is 21 € and they have a great pilgrims dinner for 13 €. They also have breakfast. Worth a visit. Such a nice place. And also very clean!

Wonderful Sanctuary

This is a beautiful Albergue with lots of garden space. There is a restaurant/bar where you can get lunch & dinner so even if you aren’t staying, it is worth a 10km stop out of Santiago.
The pilgrim menu was 13.90€ - drink, starter, entree (chicken or fish but they had veg if you asked), dessert, espresso.

Laundry is 3€ per wash/dry but that 3€ buys you 1.5 hours, so you can do multiple loads, or a longer load, etc. soap/softener included. also a wash sink & space for hanging.

The bathrooms are only 1 toilet and 1 shower per gender. It could get a little busy if everyone shows up at the same time but honestly it wasn’t too bad. Go have a beer or do your laundry while you wait your turn.

Best Albergue

This Albergue has been our favourite one since leaving SJPP. It just beats the Albergue in Villamayor for top spot for us, which is our number 2 Albergue since SJPP.

We cannot fault it in any way. Clean, spacious garden, lovely food and great family running it.

If you have the chance, stay here!

Maar wel een leuke bar en resto 👍👍👍

Wonderful place. Map location seems off.

This map and the Apple Maps showed ACDB up on Calle Ventosa. The Camino will cross the highway. Continue across and go about 15m and take left fork. Google maps was correct. Apple maps not.
But it is a wonderful tranquil place (April). Great stay, great food, wonderful host.

Albergue A Casa Do Boi is a real gem!

The converted farm building itself is absolutely delightful with comfortable beds (with curtains and individual lights) and a lovely bathroom. The host is lovely and his cafeteria serves excellent food but there is also a kitchenette with microwave & fridge.

We were lucky to have a gorgeous day of sunshine between the rain in late October and spent the afternoon writing journals on the gorgeous terrace overlooking the garden… with a cold beer… it was HEAVENLY and the perfect way to come to terms with the end of the Camino Frances.

Would highly recommend worth slowing down your journey to Finisterra and staying here.

Albergue A Casa do Boi - right next to the Camino

Right next to the Camino, the perfect albergue to stop after having spent the morning in Santiago. A very beautiful house, great bunk beds with own light, plug, curtain, blanket and drawer very comfy and plenty of space in mid-november (18.5e/bed), a very helpful and kind owner with special attention to guests having a hard time after leaving Santiago, simple kitchen (microwave, fridge, kettle), great food at the bar, and laundry. Plenty of space to chill indoor or outdoor covered or not from the rain. Highly highly recommend this albergue. Thank you for creating such an heatwarming place.

A Casa de Boi in Ventosa: great break just off Camino

This is a lovely Albergue/Bar. Look for the signs directing you to the left after coming across the main road. First place that was open since Santiago. I really enjoyed the tostadas con tomate.

Just brilliant but don’t following Booking directions

Spotlessly new accommodation with bar and restaurant on site. Lovely dinner served
I struggled to find it initially and Booking.com map is wrong. Essentially follow the Camino signs right past the bar and down the road through the houses. Cross the road and the Albergue is signed off the small road you’ve crossed into. Approx 1km from the bar.

New Albergue in Ventosa - A Casa de Boi

Amazing new Albergue and restaurant that just opened. Cost is €15 and more than worth it. Beds have their own lights, plugs and privacy curtains with large drawers underneath for backpack storage. There is a lounge, kitchen and laundry area available. Everything is brand new, the host Andrea is wonderful. Have a lovely garden to sit outside and enjoy. Definitely recommend this place if you don’t feel like walking all the way to Negeira

The people looking after this

The people looking after this albergue kindly drove us to Bar 79km (brand new & good: huge portions) and picked us up again afterwards. I don’t know if the actual owners offer to do this though

24. September 2019 - 15:46

The owners of the albergue we

The owners of the albergue we're actually in Madrid and it was being taken care of by some fill-ins nice people however because the owners weren't here there was no cooking being done at the establishment the walk to the nearest bars about the kilometer downhill uphill on the way back naturally but other than that place is quite nice and stay was lovely.
