Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.
Get the appPriaranza del Bierzo is a small town with a pharmacy and a fountain. Bar Taberna El Sitio de mi Recreo is close to the camino — it has a nice patio but doesn't open till late. The camino takes you off the highway and to the right soon after entering town.
Leaving town, the path rejoins the highway before the Mirador de Santallo, a well-known scenic overlook. The views over the Bierzo valley and the craggy cliffs across the river — known as Las Barrancas de Santalla — make for a fine rest stop.

I stooped here because of heavey rain, Rural casa is beautiful, good kitchen and lovely rooms with excellent showers. Two bars in town, the bar on the way out is set back , down a small alley way, very deceiving, amazing inside , music and good seating area. Well worth a stop, these at times get missed by pilgrims,a real gem .

Een klein onbeduidend dorp met een gezellig straatje. Hier stond een mandje met gratis fruit voor pelgrims. Lief!!
