This little hamlet is a great place!

The Inn and Alburgue are great places to stay.
If you are passing through, stop for coffee snacks or lunch.
We stayed at the Inn, which is lovely, the rooms and patios calm, very clean and relaxing.
The food is very, very good.

Amazing food and cafe here

We took the alternate route out of Leon, and stopped to see if Domus Omcinae had breakfast. Domus is a beautiful hotel, and they had an excellent small buffet.

Oncina Does Have Services!

Although we did not stay there, we stopped at Domus Oncinae. Nice looking albergue, kind and helpful staff who called a taxi for us (wife has injured knee). Recommended!

Breakfast buffet at Domus Oncinae

Once you enter the front door, go alllll the way to the back and there will be a short hall on your right that will lead you to the restaurant area.

DOMUS ONCINAE

I didn't stay here, wish I had. I stayed in a nice enough place in Virgen del Camino, breakfast bar only opened at 8.30am so far to late for a pilgrim.
Found Domus Oncinae open when I was walking past so inquired if I could get breakfast. No problem. I could have had a buffet breakfast if I had wanted to, but I just wanted scrambled eggs and bacon and a glass of orange juice. That's what I got and under 5 minutes. Beautiful clean place.

Domus Ocinae, never again!

Stayed here last night (30/4/23), hoping for a bit of RnR after a few long days walking. It is right on the Camino and looks great. My room was lovely, with a great shower, but wasn't ready when I arrived (well after check in time), there's no way of washing or drying clothes, no food available until 9pm, and no bar staff. Meal was mediocre and overpriced (no pilgrims menu as on the board outside) only meat based mains. Clearly they are not after the peregrinos market, and it may just have been a bad day in terms of staffing, but really disappointed at such total lack of customer service.

Looks great

Popped in here for a cool drink and a rest when headed for Mazarife. It looks like a great place to stay. Probably only a year old.

Domus Oncinae is the perfect Place

What a wonderful peaceful place, we love every part of this place. Rooms are super clean, Staff are super friendly, they are absolutely doing everything they can for your comfort. Food was also great. Rita the owner is one of the most sweet, nice, spiritual person we met all over our Camino walk. She is so relax and classy. We are recommending this place and even suggest to stay two night if you need peaceful place to rest and recharge. Bouen Camino.

There is a small very cozy

There is a small very cozy albergue in town (10€).
A part of the building is around 200 years old, lots of charm and caricature.
Wi-Fi, good showers and toilets, kitchen; option for pilgrims dinner, breakfast and laundry.
