Camino Francés App

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

The Alto del Portillo provides your first view of León. The tradition at this point is to search the skyline for the spires of the cathedral — they're visible on a clear day, rising above the city like a beacon. The moment is more powerful than the modest height of the hill would suggest.

Portillo Murder House

Unlikely landmark next to 'Flexsan Group', on the descent from Alto del Portillo. Lone home where a woman killed and dismembered her husband in 1975. The house is preserved and shut, you can identify it by the worn red paint on the ground floor.
