Church is perhaps 150 m from main road, down to the right (down a little slope). Benches around small church plaza and under potico of church itself offer a nice spot to stop (ate our late afternoon « lunch » seated under the portio.) Beware: the bells ring at off times so can give one a bit of a start (*raises hand sheepishly).

If you go down to the right, the is a beautiful church from pre-1000 AD and the old monastery buildings. Shaded stone benches outside the church front door.
