Elejalde is located 1 km off the camino on a marked trail to the left. There's no need to backtrack if you visit — the road from Elejalde rejoins the camino in Marmiz.

Tried to go there today and a local told us it's been closed for four years

I stayed in the one in olabe and the host said he put up a sign to indicate that the municipal is closed, because people kept heading up and back down. He doesn't know when and if it'll open again
