Camino de Invierno App

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino de Invierno app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Caspedro is a small hamlet on the final approach to Quiroga. No services. A turn-off here leads to the monumental complex of Quiroga's pilgrim hospital — the Romanesque church of San Salvador and associated 16th-century buildings. The detour appears to be 1-2 km from the camino.

Confusing yellow arrows

At the chapel, continue straight and then veer right to continue on the main Camino route. There are double yellow arrows that make a sharp right also at the chapel that lead off the main route. We followed those arrows and ended up having to make a loop to refind the way. Other pilgrims also experienced the same today.
