Albergue Sra. Elena’s host is warm and relaxed, and he lives just a few doors down. The sunny patio is great for drying your wash and relaxing with friends. Everything works as it should!

A great old-fashioned Albergue. Wonderful, kind owner. Everything you need. Highly recommended!

After a rough day in the rain, this albergue was the only one open. Thr chap explained where everything is located, and what times local shops closed. Very helpful chap. No Heating, but plenty of blankets. The kitchen is well equipped, no oven but it did have electric hobs and a microwave. ScottG UK

You need to go the bar/ lottery ticket store next door to check in.The host was friendly and checked us in quickly. The albergue was full as there are very few places to stay. The albergue needs updating. No air-conditioning or fans. Small grocery store next door.

The host went out of his way to help our friend who had an injured feet. Took him to the farmacy and doctor as well, helped him get a taxi. I really reccomend the place, but it needs a reservation, because it is small and the only open albergue in town.

The host is the best hospitalero ever! Nice albergue!
The other albergue in town is closed, so make sure yourreserve a bed in here!

Normal Auberge, although private. The Host is very lovely and helpful. There are supermarkets and Bars around.

There was some doubt among pilgrims as to whether there were currently any Albergue open in Carcaboso. Albergue Elena is open (we stayed 30th March 2022). Friendly Host. Decent facilities.

Not the most fancy albergue on the Camino but I like the host. To checkin you need to go to the bar next door
