Stayed there October 2025. Recommended. Basic but charming and lovely garden. Laura doesn’t speak English but encourages pilgrims to meet by offering port and home made cake. I made friends as a result! A great start to my Camino.

A very warm welcome in a pleasant setting with a garden. A haven of peace in which to relax.
Laura offered all the pilgrims a glass of port. A very fraternal moment.

Despite the fact that there was a power and water outage this was by far our most favourite stay due mainly to our lovely host Laura. Our room consisted of four comfortable single beds which backed onto a lovely garden where we relaxed in the sun after washing our kit. Unfortunately we couldn’t attend a pilgrim supper due to the outage so instead bought cheese and ham etc from the supermarket and made our own eating and entertainment. Laura provided jugs of port and we enjoyed a great evening with pilgrims of many different nationalities. Laura didn’t want to charge us due to the inconvenience but we all paid the full price and felt we had excellent value for money.

The beds are so comfortable, the room warm on these super cold nights, the kitchen and eating area are so perfect (stove and pans) and the backyard and oranges are delicious. Teas and jams, snacks, hot water heater, microwave, stove top, pans, hot water in sink & shower. Perfecr!

This albergue is a dream. The host doesn’t speak that much English but he is the sweetest, and SUPER helpful, and even try’s chatting a bit.
We stayed in the private room, and was provided with clean sheets and bedding, plus towels. The private room shares the bathroom with the woman’s dorm.
The garden is lovely, and you can snack crackers or buy a beer:))
Would recommend!

Great shower with cloth towels. Free tea, cookies, and some breakfast items. Beer and wine available for purchase. There is a lovely garden. When a group of pilgrims sat around the table outside the owner brought us a bottle of Port. Gracias!
If no one is there when you arrive call and the owner will come and check you in.

I had a small private room with shared bathroom for 35 Euros. The owner was very welcoming. All the pilgrims were offered a sample of port later in the afternoon, which was a nice way to bring the pilgrims together. There was a nice place to sit outside. Wifi was strong. Great location.

We had a great night here. We were in a bunk room which only sleeps 5. All facilities and a small breakfast included. Cakes and Port wine which we shared with other pilgrims were supplied by Laura. A lovely hostess!
Some private rooms available also.
We would recommend staying here.

Great way to end the 1st day of Camino Portuguese. Laura is very nice with gratis cookies and Porto wine. Nice accommodation (we took the double bed room) with a shared, clean bathroom and towels. Enjoyed the quiet evening in a relaxing backyard.

Do dyspozycji kuchnia. Ogródek w tym budyneczku zaniedbany, porośnięty chwastami. Ale miejsce do prania i suszenia zabezpieczone. Miałem jednak klucze i mogłem wypoczywać w patio głównym. Albergua zlokalizowana przy szlaku. Wada tylko jedno gniazdko elektryczne w moim pokoju 4 osobowym. Bez piętrowych łóżek.

We walked right from the airport. Perfect and quiet to recover from jet lag. Nice kitchen. Restaurant on the corner. Great place!

I have walked 3 Camino’s from end to end and his place is at the top of my list of recommended places to stay. It has everything a tired pilgrim needs for a comfortable night. The complimentary port wine and cookies (hand delivered on a tray by Laura), clean bathroom and shower, nice backyard with loungers are just a few perks of staying here.

Overbooked!!! I made a reservation by mail. Confirmed by the owners. When i arrived there it was full.No excuse or any explanation from the owners. The problem for a bed was solved by another pelgrim not by the owners.NOT a nice place to go! Go somewhere else!

Great backyard space to lounge about! The cafe next door offers a standard pilgrim’s menu for €7. In the evening the host brought out homemade port wine and little cakes to share.

Great host and very homely. Nice shower, sun-loungers/dining chairs in the garden. Even brought us homemade port and coconut cakes!
