I paid 15€ for a bed. The room had 4 bunk beds. Everything was clean and well organized.
Unfortunately someone used my towel, so be careful with your stuff.

Hottest night on our Camino. We were there in 95F/35C weather and there was no AC or fan. They kept the doors wide open to attempt ventilation but the side effect was about a million bugs in the common area (presumably they were also trying to escape the heat...don't blame them). Bunks and some facilities a little flimsy/old but everything served its purpose. Washers and dryers available (our clothes dried in about 10 minutes in the heat, even with the only hanging area indoors). Kitchen with stove and equipment. Fridge but no freezer. The host was kind and welcoming and offered us a map of the area with recommended shops and restaurants. Nice bonus: it's right next to the river so you can fall asleep to the sound of the water.

It is very clean (smells like peach cleaner/room spray) and the rooms have 4 beds (no bunk!) each! I paid 15€ cash and Jesus was beyond friendly. I didn’t reserve in advance and just waited in front of the Albergue but at 12 (opens at 13) there were only 3 beds left. Might be better to reserve via WhatsApp before (on the website it said that there were no more beds available - not true). Kitchen has stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven.

This was a very enjoyable stay. Very convenient for the Camino. Our room only had four beds and it was spacious. Plenty of hot water for a shower. A pilgrim supper was arranged off site but very good value for money. Nice bar right next door by the river.

Update on below comment: apparently half the beds are put on booking.com, and the other half are left as first come first served for pilgrims. So you don't necessarily need a réservation, but today it is almost full at 14h30 (May 2025)

We arrived today (May 2025) and the hostess told us that this albergue (albergue de calvas de reis urraca) was previously municipal, but is NO LONGER a municipal albergue, not for the past few years. Now, there is NO municipal albergue in caldas de reis. So be warned!

It only costs 15 euro per person, but you need a réservation in advance! It is possible on booking.com

Kitchen has small microwave, fridge and some dishes. Kitchen is in dire need of maintenance as cabinets falling apart. Showers are push button with set temp, took a while, but got warm.
Friendly host upon arrival. We were only two in small room of three bunk bed sets, which was nice, but I wouldn’t want to be there is full.
Washer and dryer for 4 Euro each. Also hand washing capability but only inside clothes lines so doubtful of drying capability if hanging.
Location of hostel is good. Supermarket a few minutes away and easy walk to riverfront area.

Clean and nice. In a 4 bed and cost 15€. Free washing machine and kitchen area with and cooker. No kettle or microwave. Close to cafes and shops. Very pretty place with natural spa to bathe your feet.
Paper sheet and blanket provided.
Friendly host on reception.

Cost now 12 € per Night. It was cold, because the have no heater

Bed bugs present on the walls. The owner didn’t seem to care and just killed it with her hands. 5 people left due to the site of it. Also woke up to a large spider on the wall. The place needs to be cleaned and sprayed - be warned

Smells so good! No washing machine but can hand wash. Wifi is good and showers are warm ❤️

Very clean each dorm only has 3 or 4 single beds. Not much by way of beating, some small heaters but probably enough to dry socks . Not too busy today
