Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Great stay

I was welcomed very warmly
and felt very relaxed.
Both ladies are lovely and cheerful.
Despite what one person said, the vibe here was brilliant.
Even the dogs were happy and friendly.
I had a really tasty meal.
I slept soundly in a very comfortable bed.
Enjoyed my breakfast before heading off after getting big hugs from the ladies.
I'm walking again in September and will be happy to stay here again.

Delightful treat

Susan and Rocia welcomed me into their home a warm and unique experience. Bed and breakfast is donativo and dinner is currently €10. It felt like I was I was a part of the family. The food is delicious, the bathroom modern. The vibe very relaxing. Please go here without hesitation.

Excellent small albergue.

Don't let the size put off. This albergue offers truly pilgrim centred hospitality run by pilgrims.Friendly welcoming home style albergue.

The vibes were a bit off

Not sure how I feel about this place. There was a comfy bed and home cooked meal and the alternative route is beautiful. In my opinion, the vibes at this albergue were a bit uncomfy. I was the only pilgrim there, there seemed to be many unspoken house rules, and it felt like everything I did was a problem.

Welcomed with a hug and smile

Susan is so lovely and welcomes you into her home like you are a member of the family, ensuring you are taken care of. I felt very comfortable here. Full bedding and towel provided. Delicious dinner. Super cozy bed.

One of my favourite stays on the Camino.

Amazing!

One of the best if not THE best albergue on the Camino, the ladies are lovely offering a home cooked meal with heating under the table, beds with soft warm sheets, and a hug after a long day of walking. As others have said, it's a donativo but the outstanding care and attention means we donated what we thought it was worth.

A genuine Camino gem

What can I say that hasn’t already been said- this place is truly great. Without a doubt my favorite spot on various different Caminos I’ve walked (Frances, Muxia, Inglese, Portuguese). Susan and her wife embody the Camino spirit and provide a warm atmosphere and great food. I felt immediately welcomed and didn’t want to leave! It’s a donativo but nonetheless give them what they deserve! This place is worth the walk and if you’re doing the Frances it’s must stop- just make sure to book ahead as there are only 6 beds as it’s in their home

Amazing Hosts! A must stay Stayed 19/09/2024

One of my favorite stays on the whole Camino! The hosts are so friendly and kind! You feel like you are sitting in your own home with family. Best night’s sleep on comfortable beds with real bedding. And the dinner was one of the most flavorful and delicious meals I’ve had in Spain! Highly recommend staying here

A Truly Remarkable Experience

If you are lucky enough to stay at Alburgue La Biznaga, you will be treated as one of the family. Delicious home cooked food right from the garden, local wine, incredible local dessert, all shared with you along with historiesand wisdom of the Camino. You would be amiss not to stay at this loving home. ❤️

More a home than an Albergue ... wonderful

From the time you arrive you are welcomed as if you are family returning home. This small albergue is full of heart. Bedding and towels are provided as is a home cooked evening meal and breakfast with home made preserves. Susan speaks english so it was a great opportunity for us who don't speak Spanish to ask questions and have interesting conversations. Highly recommended particularly if you enjoy the home stay style of experience and want to truly experience the Camino spirit. ❤️😊

The most wonderful stay on camino

This was honestly my best experience so far. The ladies running this place are so kind, they cooked excellent dinner and breakfast and gave me tips for path ahead. Took care of me like I was their own. ❤️‍🔥

This is what the Camino is about

Stayed Sept '22. This place humbly revitalizes the soul after the many kilometers. Very small, with good reason. Agree that the beds, the bathroom, the hospitality, all amazing. Getting chastised for trying to help out and not relaxing after the day's walk felt just like being at my great aunt's house. Please don't take it for granted, the ladies are so kind and their love and vision for this place really captures the community aspect of the Camino. They have 3 dogs so be careful if you're allergic but they're all sweethearts(PLS be careful not to let them out!)

Feels like grandmother's home ❤️

2 ladies with 3 loveky dogs. Donativo super confortable beds, bed linen, towel, tea, cofde, dinner for 6eur and breakfast for 2eur. Super helpful ladies, who even offered me to take my bad from Ponferrada, as I had feet pain. Both are piligrims, speaks perfect english. I just in love with this place.

If you love dogs and home cooked food

This is the place. Greeted with dog kisses and cold drinks, this felt like a visit with friends. The pilgrim dinner (6€) was home made, served family style and they had consideration for whether we were vegetarian or vegan. The dream for this place is enticing and I would hope to come back and see it as they develop it. The beds were comfortable and warm as the hospitality. The owners are pilgrims themselves. The beds are donativo. Best evening we’ve had so far.
