Don't Believe The Description

The initial description notes Sandwichs, paella, Bar service.
The whole thing is misleading.
No lunch or diner period.
No bar service period.
A couple cans of beer in a vending machine and some sweet snacks.
Breakfast is 4Eu. Toast and coffee.

Rooms and beds are OK for most Donativos. They are not priced at 15Eu but correct price is 18Eu

And lastly the shower water is luke warm at best but turns cold the second time you push the button.

Not many options on this stage.

Mediocre at best. Only go if you have no choice.

Clean rooms and rest area but they played music all night and did not enforce any noise curfew even though it is written in their albergue rules. They served supper for a large Christian retreat group at 11pm and people we talking, clapping and songing well into midnight. Very basic accomodations for the price.

Don’t recommend

Overpriced. It seems that since there aren’t many options the owner takes advantage of the location. We got a private room and it was extremely basic for what we were charged. The he people who work there were ok. Breakfast was not worth the money they charge.

Fine for a night

This hostel was fine for one night, but a bit overpriced and not special. Rooms and bathroom nice and clean. When we arrived at 8:30pm, manager had left at 6:30pm. Another employee finally agreed to let us stay the night and pay in the morning, but gave us no bedsheets. And in the morning, she was the one we paid with anyway? Breakfast overpriced, just toast and pre packaged food. Fantastic tortilla in a bar next door though. Would go for the tortilla next door!

Good hostel

Very comfy beds in twin room with en-suite. Clean, with fly screens on windows. Friendly staff on reception and the bar. This hostel doesn’t offer food apart from a breakfast, but there’s a restaurant next door that does good tortilla. There’s a relaxing feel to the place, with a nice outdoors area to sit and have a drink in.

overpriced and mediocre

definitely no dinner here!! don’t get confused by this listing and these old comments like me. breakfast is 6 euros for a buffet of cold packaged things, toast, coffee. a bed costs 18 euros and other nearby places are 15. nothing special, no reason for the price hikes except business…

No lunch or dinner

The hospitalero says no lunch/dinner because they're getting ready to close for the season, but a Google review from 3 months ago says they didn't have lunch or dinner then either. Hospitalero directed us to eat at the Cantina next door, which is so-so, nothing special. I'd probably try staying somewhere else if I was walking the Primitivo again.

The place is fine and the people really friendly and helpful. However, only having 1 key for a room with 3 people in it is a nuisance as you have to keep looking for the key. It really doesn’t cost much to get some keys cut.

I stayed in one of the 7 bed

I stayed in one of the 7 bed rooms, which all have en-suite bathrooms that are very nice with new showers. The outdoor space in front is so lovely to relax in after a day on the Camino. The shared dinner of paella was great and made it feel like a lovely community. After dinner we all ended up signing songs as a group :) I would definitely stay there again my next time on the Camino!

The most beautiful albergue I've seen on the Camino. Brand new. Each room has only 2 beds and private shower, toilet and sink. Books up fast.
