Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Vía de la Plata app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Fine option but far from Camino

We stayed July 9, 2025. The pod beds are fun, and an improvement over traditional bunks. There’s more room in there than you might think and it’s dark and quiet. Bathrooms are clean but not a lot of stalls or showers given the number of people staying here. However it’s far off the Camino. We had walked from Triacastela and it was a hot day so walking all the way here was more than we wanted. There are fewer choices for nearby food and groceries too than in central Sarria so that’s more walking.

Convenient if starting in Sarria

Super close to train station, so perfect if you are coming to Sarria to start your Camino. Otherwise, it is a bit far from the path through the city. Easy to link up in the morning.

Bed were comfortable, and I quite liked the capsule beds for privacy. Bathrooms don’t ventilate super well, but the water was hot!

Nice stay

A nice clean place to stay. My wife wasn’t fond of the “coffin” beds, but they kind of reminded me of berthing on a Navy ship… a little off the Camino, but it was easy to hook back up in the morning. A great restaurant across the street.

No Camino Vibe

About 1/2 mile off the Camino…. No Camino spirit at all. Capsule bunks are ok. The whole place smells of bad room fresheners. If you are allergic to artificial scents this place would be a problem.
