Albergue = Prison break

On first glance it looks very nice outside but then you walk in and your bed is assigned with old thin matresses and so many people to a room with very little fresh air. Bathrooms do not include a curtain or door but does include a show for the person using the toilet. We left here as fast as we could

The most basic Municipal albergue

As far as Municipal Albergues go, this one is the most basic I've encountered. As they say, you often get what you pay for.
Push button operated showers that give you 15 seconds of cold water at the time (lucky for me it was a hot day) and no doors on cubicles so no privacy. Less of an issue but still a pity that there's no basin to wash clothes by hand, and no pegs on dodgy stretched washing lines.

This says it’s open

But I’ve waited 2 hrs at reception and no one came

But there’s none working here

Noisy and no sleep - Don't come here

Super noisy place. Some albergues have everyone sleeping by 9-10. At this albergue, people are still shouting outside at 12. One room is full of teenagers shouting and messing around at 11:30. Even singing at 11:30. Dogs barking, people screaming, mosquitos and misery. This is not a pilgrim hostel. If you're 18, selfish and a party pilgrim, then come here.

They say the door closes at 11. It does not. Zero rules and zero good behaviour. People were watching football on the lounge TV at 11:30pm.

Friendly staff but lots and lots of rules

Clean and efficient

Dryers somewhat expensive and didn’t work well. Also all of we’re asked if we had bedbugs. All hiking sticks, shoes, pack covers, gaiters, rain pants etc had to be checked at the door before going in. Extra charge for blankets. Wireless shut down at night. No showers after 930pm.

Staff were friendly.

My worst experience

Beds were assigned
No doors or privacy in showers
Huge dorm and a man who was washing his underwear in the women’s sink of the bathroom wearing only his underwear woke me up at 4:30am being noisy.

Good clean and cheap

Friendly at checkin. Clean bathrooms and toilets.
Beds were relatively new and they have these halfway walls between the bunkbeds which keeps the noise down. There are also washing machines and dryers. Overall very good for only 8euro!

31. July 2019 - 6:37

the worst place. The hospital

the worst place. The hospital is indifferent and very unhelpful. the kitchen no service at all. there is no calm at 22. People were allowed to sound until 1 p.m. 1 at night? the food that some people put in the fridge was not there in the morning. butts place.

25. October 2016 - 20:02

Showers

Showers are male/female separate, but there are no curtains or plastic doors for privacy between cubicles
