Vía de la Plata app

Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Vía de la Plata app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Good beds

Choice between bunks and separate beds. Place to cook. And real breakfast in the morning👍

Good albergue

Pretty good albergue. Nice beds with good ladders and blankets. Each bed has an outlet. The bathrooms have large showers. It has a great garden terrace. €20 if booking online.

Cruce de Caminos

A great alberge, easy check in, clean fabric sheets, new soft quilts, hot showers. Great bed (high bunks) set up with individual lights and charging points.

2018, €10?

Time flies. 2022 and it is now €15 -20. But after the scourge of Covid I'm not at all surprised. A great place to stay. The lack of character seems to be gone. A great hospitalero on reception. My only criticism would be that there are a lot of beds crammed in to reasonably small spaces.

Off the busy road

Great facilities, off the busy road, good places to eat nearby. Probably lacks a little character compared to other albergues but Arzua as a town seems more functional then character filled, so having a comfortable space to relax, bunk beds that offer more privacy than most, big showers etc is worth it :)

A clean, modern albergue.

A clean, modern albergue. Washing machines avail. Across road from the best pizza restayrant on the Camino Francés.

Nice, clean, spacious, bright place with strong consistent WiFi with easy access to Mercado & other pilgrim services. Excellent value if €10 for spacious, private feeling bunks with personal shelf, outlet, & light. Bathrooms spacious & clean. Good outside of dorm space in hallway to prep for day without waking the entire dorm room! Hospitalerio easy going, warm & receptive to pilgrim needs.
