Price was €12 on this day, no food served due to family health problems. Supermarket in town with other bars available. Definitely a local favorite hangout, but I didn't feel weird as a pilgrim there. A jolly crowd. NOTE: kitchen does NOT have a fridge!

For €15 you can't complain. 15€ for dinner.
Lovely big garden. Full of locals playing cards in the garden. Nice vibe, I liked it.

Clean and comfortable with a bar downstairs that is a favorite with the locals on a Sunday afternoon, which I found to be charming other than the smoke. The young woman running things was helpful and friendly. Art and graffiti from pilgrims of days gone by decorates the walls. Interesting floor plan, some of which is open to the courtyard below. Has a large and well kept back yard.

The staff at this albergue were very welcoming and the garden is lovely. The lady made me a three course meal at lunchtime although she normally only makes it the evening. I felt very comfortable here and would recommend to anyone

Beautiful Albergue that offers and communal pilgrim dinner and breakfast. Rooms are clean and they provide linens for the guests. There is a bar open to guests and towns people but noise was not a problem. Nerida our host was welcoming.

Never listen to or believe bad reviews. This place was just fine for the night. I didn’t eat communal dinner but the kitchen was well stocked for cooking a meal. Please note there was no fridge.

Maybe the information here is out of date but it was the first time the information didn’t line up. Just something to be aware of if you plan to stay here.

Enjoyed staying at this albergue, where the hostess went out of her way to help. The family were working very hard to serve pilgrims and locals, which made it a busy place, but nice to have the mix. The garden is great for relaxing and pilgrim dinner made it special.

Nice garden. Friendly staff. We had our own room. Good kitchen.
13. May 2024 - 18:55
The vegetable soup was tasteless and the chicken was 90% breading. My worst pilgrim meal on the Camino
22. October 2023 - 15:43
The hostel was not tidy and clean. Small bathrooms. The hosts not welcoming at all. Locals hang out in the bar and garden drinking and playing cards, which was also the focus of hosts (father and son).

Really enjoyed this Alburgue, host lovely and helpful, pilgrim meal really nice good atmosphere, bar was well patronised by locals, really good vibe.

Just had a very nice stay here. The owners are wonderfully welcoming and accommodating, and food and the company were good!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jesus. It’s a sweet little albergue with a bar inside. The dinner was really good food! The owners are friendly, and it had a nice feel to it.

I always want to dwell under the protection of Jesus, my closest Friend, Lord and Saviour, but this Jesús is just gone with the wind till october 30th.

I enjoyed my stay here. There is a very pleasant garden to relax in. Plenty of washing line and pegs in a sunny position. Our dorm was only women, 4 sets of bunks but only 4 of us resident. Not many sockets in the dorm but there are many in other areas. There was a separate shower and toilet near our room and 2 more showers nearby with their own toilets. Evening meal was available if wanted; 3 courses with choices for each, wine beer or water. Breakfast was available in the morning (coffee, OJ and toast). Worth having as it was 15km before anything else was available. I would stay again even though the mattress had seen better days and I could feel all the springs.

As always, friendly and nice. Spacy rooms with 4/6 beds only. Best albergue in town.

Not many choices in this town, but I would not stay at Casa de Jesus again. Noisy, not very well managed, a bit dirty with overflowing trash cans. A bit shabby. Small rooms, distant from bathroom, which include toilet and shower in small rooms, so either use ties up the entire room. Plus the place is a neighborhood hangout that makes for noisy groups, smoking, drinking, and laughing. I really disliked staying here. One of the worst on the Camino.
18. September 2018 - 15:45
The price is 7€ as of Sept 2018. They do not serve meals here but the back garden and swimming pool are a positive even if just to soak your feet. The bar is very popular with locals.
