Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

The hosts are kind and friendly.
The rooms are so clean, beds comfy, and towels large, soft, and fluffy!
The food is excellent, something for everyone to enjoy.
The shower was strong and had a great temperature.
The views from the rear terrace are superb and lovely from the front. We could see for miles & miles. Enjoy!

We had dinner out on the terrace - gorgeous views! Food was delicious, and the shop had so many little things a pilgrim needs. Excellent spot!

Miguel checked us in at Pension El Trasgu de Foncebadon. Very helpful. Last room as we just walked in. Just beat another couple out by about a minute. So maybe book ahead here. Amazing albergue. Great store, market. Great restaurant and bar. ATM. Takes credit cards. We had an apartment, two single beds and a shared bathroom for 69 euros. It was like a company retreat like building 50 meters from where we checked in. Super modern and clean. Soap in the shower. Real towels. Real sheets. Completely crazy. Anyone that rates this less than 5 stars on the app is not able to ever be pleased. Definitely would stay here again.

Our rooms were clean and beautiful and the hosts were so helpful. One of the camino places where we felt truly looked after.

I tried a number of times to book a room at El Trasgu in Foncebadon, but the e-mail was returned and the website gave an Error 404. I was able to get them by telephone and booked (so they are correct). They asked me to advise thathe e-mail and URL both need to end in .COM. They have some language issues doing it themselves.

We arrived in pouring rain and very cold - some snow still on the hills in late May. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The rooms were excellent. The highlight was the food. Delicious and reasonably priced. Both dinner that night and breakfast the next morning were superb. Strongly recommend as a stopover!!

Friendly service and excellent store that has everything you could possibly want or need, from gear to souvenirs to food and wine. The breakfast options (esp. Avocado toast with cochino) was excellent.

I stayed here to rest a very nasty blister and the host was very kind and arranged a taxi for me to the clinic in Ponferada.

Didn't plan on staying but after walking in terrestrial rain for most of morning I stopped here for a hot cuppa and to dry off a little, noticing the rain had started to penetrate my kit, I thought I need to stop n dry out completely, glad I did great single room, hot shower and electric heater to dry off everything, had lunch n dinner in restaurant and both were lovely,, as an English man they had a great selection of teas too, 40€ for room but it was worth it, very comfortable

Stayed Oct 2020. It was a little pricy, but besides that a good place. They have a useful store downstairs and a great view out back of the restaurant. Also very friendly. I'd be torn on staying again only for the cost, not relating to any service or other.

Nice bar and not to many beds in a room. Go for it! Showers where good also! Others where full by pre bookers and some where closed.

We rose out of the dust of the climb,a fine coating of it on every bit of us, and in real need of a shower which would not turn off after five minutes. This is a beautifully done place with lovely rooms and a terrific bar and restaurant with the most accommodating hosts who also speak English. Fortified we continue. Food was great with menu dia for 10€ but only one glass of wine. However, others were only 1,5€.

I’m having an amazing cafe con leche for 1€ as I write this. Wish I needed to spend the night here. Very nice bar, good looking menu, beer, sidra! Nice tienda!!!
