From when we first stepped in the door, the place is great. Hire the women working here the head up your corporation. Our group of four landed the top floor. Spacious and private. Washer, dryer and great neighborhood. Can’t say enough.

The place is kind of a rabbit warren, but it has everything you need, and the beds were good. The showers are awkward; hooks inconvenient and the shower sprayed out of the curtain and soaked the floor instantly. But at least it was good water pressure!

The layout of the building is rather typical, but the real beds are great and so was the communal diner.

While Rosalia was very welcoming, and I loved the single beds, I did find the layout of the building all over the place, and that meant that the room that I was in was flooded with light until about 10 o’clock from the common area below on balance, I would stay here again

This was such an intriguing building! Going up the stairs was a challenge for this senior but arriving in the dorm was marvellous! Open rafters help create a lovely atmosphere! The communal meal was very yummy and, again, conversing with fellow pilgrims from so many different parts of the world was a highlight! I needed to spend an extra day to heal a bit and Javier arranged a different hostel for me because this one was booked for the second night. In the morning, as I waited for the next Albergue to open, Javier let me stay at Rosalie because it was so cold outside. Camino kindness!

Stayed here based on positive comments.
I found the place to be no better than okay.
Don't expect great food.
The usual mediocre chicken and salad.
Wouldn't stay again...there are far better in the village.

Great beds, super clean, real sheets and blankets, watermelon on arrival, a great kitchen, and friendly staff. All single beds. This place shouldn’t be missed!

Lovely hospitaleros, delicious dinner, no bunk beds. What more can you ask for?

Albergue is in an old house. Comfortable single beds. Cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Dinner was really nice. Highly recommend.

A quirky older building everything is spotlessly clean. The owner very welcoming on arrival and the evening meal he cooked was so delicious. We were grateful to stay 2 days due to my friend having a sore foot. Thankyou.

Front desk person was very welcoming helpful throughout entire stay. The beds were bet comfortable. No bunk beds. Old building so don’t expect perfection but very clean bathroom and kitchen.

2nd time here. Quirky, old, renovated. Nothing is to code but that adds to the charm. Bathrooms are small and kooky but hey, it is what it is. Beds (not bunks!) are comfy with real sheets. Evening communal meal was filling and delicious. Lights all off at 9pm, on at 6:30am.
Not fancy, but worth a stay.

We were offered cold water when we came in. There is sheets on the madresses + pillow covers, soap in the bathrooms + papertowels to dry your hands, a tiny corner outside with sun where you can hang your clothes to dry, free coffee in the kitchen when we arrived

The lady was lovely, she gave me all the information I needed, the beds were clean and nice. (I do carry my own cotton single sheet with me)No bunks which I loved. 2 x rooms 6 beds in each.
I haven’t used the bathrooms yet though. No complaints from my 4 other roommates
9. June 2024 - 20:31
The bathrooms for 20 people are in poor condition and water from the shower on the floor. Beware of all the steps. The single beds are nice.
10. May 2024 - 18:10
It was nice having a single bed! Friendly staff There were plugs beside the beds but they were hidden behind the mattress. The house is quite old and they have used the space well. Washing facilities were good. The town is nice to walk around. I did but feel up to climbing up to the e castle but wish I had done so.

Stayed there on May 05, 2024. The nicest greeting, very friendly staff, nice facilities, separate beds which meant a good night sleep, nice dinner and generous breakfast! Highly recommended!

This is a top notch Albergue. After staying at so many you start to appreciate the small things and this one has them all covered. Clean/spacious/ single beds / comfortable beds and pillows/ night tables/plugs/cotton sheets/ hot showers/ plentiful toilets and showers/ soap and paper towels in the bathroom/ delicious meal/ quiet and tranquil. It’s hard to believe you pay the same price here as at many albergues without most of these niceties.
