Truly wonderful time here! Gracious hosts and excellent home-cooked meal. They will wash and dry a communal load of laundry every night so you don't have to hand wash anything!

It s one of the best Albergue I have been on the Norte. The host gave a warm welcome with a cup of tea. Dinner was delicious, also breakfast. It was clean, the beds were good. The place gives you a feeling to be at home!

Albergue Aves de Paso is an amazing Oasis if calm. Anna is a wonderful host and amazing chef. This place will not disappoint you!

Its a fantastic place!
the atmosphere - you feel like at home.They meet you with cookies,tea,water (with flower essencial)!!
They wash and dry your (that day) clothes.
The dinner is the best we eat at albergues!

Magnífico albergue, exprime o verdadeiro sentido dos Caminhos de Santiago. Cordialidade, simpatia, alegria, carinho e cuidado com os peregrinos, uma maravilha. Jantar ótimo, café da manhã esplêndido, ambiente fantástico! Muito obrigado por tudo. Vida longa ao Aves de Paso, congrats, Anna!

Anna and Sebastian welcomed us with tea and cookies, settled us in, and washed our clothes. There was lots of room to relax and a great playlist in the background. Dinner was fabulous! Anna and Sebastian joined us and the conversation was great. Breakfast more than expected. Very highly recommended.

After 11 days on the Norte, this by far has been the best stay at any of the accommodations. We were warmly welcomed and shared an evening meal with a small group of peregrinos. It was a lovely experience. I agree with the other comments about all the perks.

Outstanding experience. After 3k km pilgrimage this is one of the accommodations I will keep for sure in my mind. Warm and full of harmony. Awesome food!

Anna has created an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere - over and above the hot shower, comfortable beds, and good food - the albergue has all the touches that we miss on the trail that make it feel like home.
