Our beds were next to the bathroom and when the door opened the bright light came on. Noisy banging doors and a loud dinner crowd in the next room.

Stayed on 27 August 2026 and enjoyed spending time in the garden and pool — there is also a Dia a short walk away. The stay was €19 (cash only) and pilgrim dinner was €18.50 (cash only) which you need to book before 5pm.

Most of the bunk beds are placed side by side like double beds, so it’s really lovely if you’re with friends, but worth noting if you’re solo and don’t want to sleep right next to someone you don’t know.

Nice Albergue. Tall wooden bunks that don’t squeak. Different size bunk rooms, some 4 or 6. Has an enclosed swimming pool. Has dinner with choices. Laundry service for 10 euro. Meal was very good for $18.50. Had choice of starter, main course and bread. Gazpacho, chicken dish, dessert. Came with wine and bread. No regrets eating at the Albergue. It was more a restaurant than a pilgrim meal. Not communal. Albergue was in a great location, 100 meters from main square with cafes,bars. Would stay here again.

I loved this place! The pool was absolute heaven for my tired legs and feet. Personal electrical sockets for each bunk plus a little shelf for your things. Family-run. Loved it!

Only complaint is that there was no where to sit or place backpacks as an upper bunk sleeper. Hooks, lockers and/or a chair would have been very practical.

A good vibe. Outdoor space with lawn and pool was very nice. Food was nothing special. Don’t spend the money on pilgrims meal. Beds and bathrooms were nice. Very crowded first floor at kitchen and backpack area in the morning.

Nice enough place. Some bunks pushed together which was weird. Decent food. Nice garden with pool.

Very clean dormitory, a nice garden with reclining lawn chairs and a covered pool, hot showers (not sure what happened to the last commenter), and sinks for washing your clothes. A few people were disappointed on arrival to learn that the lower bunks had all been pre-reserved so if you call ahead to book a bed, let them know your preference. Dinner was €17.50. Bunk bed in the dormitory was €15.

A tough walk after a super windy day.The wind speed 60km/h.But there is no hot water for shower! The water is just not cold.

Lovely Albergue to stay in- lovely pool to relax by after a long day of walking! Beds were very comfy! The lady who checked us in was lovely, but couldn’t find any staff past 5pm. The only downside would be that there are kitchen facilities advertised, but the hob doesn’t work. We bought loads of food hoping to cook, and when we found out it was too late and wasn’t able to eat in the restaurant upstairs.

A good nights sleep though- so I’m pleased with that!

I’m American and think it’s hard to beat our burgers but this place had a fabulous burger - muy delicioso! And the ribs!! Omgoodness the ribs! I’ll be dreaming about those for a long time to come. Super friendly hospitalera, pool was amazing, nice comfy bed. Great stay!

Good Albergue with friendly staff. Well meaning attempt to serve vegan but picking the meat out of the stew isn’t vegan! I would stay here again but would eat elsewhere - there is a good supermarket where you can buy plenty of food.

Loved the swimming pool, the beds were super comfy, the hospitalera tried to get me a bottom bed and the food was really good as well. The portions are smaller than at other places though. Try the chocolate mousse! It’s so good!

This is the best albergue my group has experienced so far, very clean, wonderful pool, very kind staff, and delicious food. The garden is great and communal spaces are sizable.

Some of the bunk beds are pushed together though, this can be good or bad, depending on whether you want to sleep next to someone or not.

The best alburgue so far. Friendly service, clean, comfortable and easy. Would 100% stay again.

The albergue was very nice. The pool was a plus to cool off your aches after a long walk. The food was ok. A lot of fried and very American dishes.

If you plan to take a nap when you arrive think again. Loud music playing all the time.

Wonderful place. Very spacious and comfortable bunks. Highly recommended. Lovely outdoor area, great host. Shower is difficult to get hot consistently but not a big inconvenience. Recommend.
