Room is clean and tidy. Shower a bit small, price 50€ for private room. Washing 5€. Nice roofterrace for quick loundry drying. Great restaurant in front where you can get a nice pelgrims meal. No camino energy but good place to recharge for a fair price.

The 6 euros is for the Albergue which is closed in October.

After Astorga we stoped here at the 10 km mark. A bocadillo and OJ was 10€!!!!

Be warned it is very expensive, move o to next cafe if you can hold on!!!
I try not to write negative reviews but look on Google reviews all saying the same thing!!

So be warned!!

The private rooms and bathroom are really nice, quite spacious and very clean, bed really comfortable,lots of hot water in the shower, nice sunny terrace to dry your clothes.
They have a restaurant and serve food early and we had the pilgrims menu which was lovely, the staff are great and really helpful, would definitely recommend,

All comments above are a reflection of our experience. Our room is spacious, the courtyard and balcony have a nice ambience. The Pilgrims meal was full of value and the food was delicious. The hosts are also extremely accommodating and speak good English. I don't know anything about pricing for the budget traveller but price for private room is fair and reasonable at €39. Recommended. Fine place, but the price €13 not €7. It does come with a (basic) breakfast included in the cost, but for the price the facilities aren’t as good as other places, or even municipal albergues, which cost less. Does have a bar/restaurant which is nice food for dinner, but no microwave or kitchen if you want to make your own food.

Wonderful accomadating host. Great courtyard with bar and restaurante. One of the best deals on the Camino.
