Vía de la Plata
12.5 km, 40 m up and 0 m down, through 0 places. Where you stop is up to you.
Every place on the path in order, with the distance from Jarilla. Most are too small to sleep in — a fountain, a chapel, a bar that may or may not be open — but they are what the day is actually made of.
From Jarilla you do not need to retrace your steps. Follow the N-630 and you will rejoin the camino.
The 3.3km addition is to the roadside Hostal Asturias.
The camino follows the road out of town to a roundabout, where you turn right to cross over the motorway. At the roundabout on the opposite side turn left to resume walking along the road all the way to Banos de Montemayor.
Distances are the sum of the town-to-town measurements in my data, not a straight line on a map. Climb and descent come from the altitude of each place listed above, so they under-read where the path goes over a hill between two of them.
