Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Inglés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.
Get the appA small village near Ordes. No significant services, but Ordes itself — a few kilometres off the Camino — has supermarkets, pharmacy, ATMs, and restaurants if you need to resupply.
Between O Outeiro and Fonta the Camino can become confused. Keep your eyes open for arrows, and remember to distinguish between the purple and yellow variations — they mark different routes. You'll eventually come to a jumble of houses where a road ends, and it's there that the arrows become muddled. Your best option is to stay on the road and watch carefully. From this point, you'll begin a series of steep switchbacks.

The albergue seemed clean and the lady working there was really nice and made sure everyone knew and followed the rules to keep it clean…BUT one of us got badly bitten by bed bugs when staying there. This needs to be resolved.

Modernized hostel in an old house with thick walls and plenty of space around it. The hostel manager seems grumpy at first glance. But she is totally caring. When we arrived, she asked us on her own whether we had eaten anything at all. Since the only restaurant in town was closed, she recommended we take a taxi (€5.75) to the next town (Ordes). Good idea. We had a really lovely afternoon with delicious food and relaxation at a shady, airy spot in front of a nice bar. The hostel manager was so thoughtful and hung our washed laundry out to dry over the fence. With lots of greenery around the hostel, we were able to spend the evening on the meadow next to the house playing cards.

No bar close by to eat. But there is a Casa Rural next door that you can eat in. Unusual Albergue in that the beds are upstairs & toilets downstairs.

Albergue in nice, clean, warm. Has a small kitchen, microwave and fridge. No utensils, cookware, cups or plates. You need to be able to receive test messages to get wifi. Hopefully, all will be solved soon.
