Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Nothing says you have to stop here, or there. These are simply the towns within a comfortable day's walk, so you can decide tonight.

Puente de Órbigo sits on the east bank of the Río Órbigo, directly across the famous bridge from Hospital de Órbigo. The two towns function as one settlement split by the river. A couple of bars and services are available on this side, but most pilgrims cross the bridge directly into Hospital.

Fantastic little cafe/bar as you walk into town. Open at 7am in the morning mon-fri, with great breakfast croissants, coffee and neopolitana (the croissants and neopolitana were some of the biggest I've ever seen!) Bathrooms had soap, toilet paper and hand towels - a rarity on the Camino. Bar El Puente was a lifesaver on a cold morning. Highly recommend!

We arrived at the bridge to see them hanging bunting and setting up jousting tents and bringing in donkey pulled covered wagons and such. At lunch at Restaurant Los Angeles and one of our party had the trout soup. It looked fabulous and tasted even better! Wish we could have stayed for the fun! Might be nice to get the dates in the guide or at least on the app.
