Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

Mañeru is a small village whose labyrinthine streets seem designed to confuse. Every turn leads uphill, and the coats of arms carved into the facades of the larger houses suggest this was once a wealthier place than it appears today. A bar near the plaza and a small shop cover essentials.
The Iglesia de San Pedro sits at the heart of the village. The medieval street pattern is intact and worth a wander if you're not in a rush — it gives a sense of how these Navarrese hilltop villages were laid out for defense rather than convenience.
A celebration on the last weekend of June, and a larger fiesta during the last week of August.

If you want to see the church, you should follow the signs to the bar. The albuergue is closed, so the camino arrows get you out of town quickly. The bar is near the church in the center of town.

It appears that this albergue has closed for good.

The hosts Roberto and Mariola are genuinely wonderful people and the albergue is very clean. I was fortunate to have only two additional pilgrims in the room, so there was minimal noise. The facility itself is nice, with modern facilities. A lovely place to stay along the Camino. I hope some day to return.

The owner is a charming lady who made sure everyone understood all her instructions no matter what language they spoke.. The food was excellent. I can’t get enough salads on this trip.. they have all been tasty!

Nice little albergue with a relaxing courtyard in back. Dinner had 3 options to chose from. Marilla was very nice, inland welcoming.
I recommend staying here if coming by.

You really must stay here, it is the best hostel !
Bathrooms and showers are great. Rooms are spacious and so clean and comfy.
If you can splash out and have one of the twin en/suite rooms you won’t regret it!
Food is fab and very very generous, I was full after the starter!
Amazing hosts!!
STAY STAY STAY!!!!

14€
Mariola, host, was welcoming, informative, efficient, and candid.
Pleasant courtyard
Pilgrims’ dinner 13€-3 choices for each course. Nicely prepared. Salad that I chose as 1st course was like a large chef’s salad.

This was one of my all time favorite albergues on the entire Camino. The woman who greeted us was very kind and the rooms were quiet and clean. The bathrooms are also clean and the washing area is very cute. The bar has a lovely selection of drinks (I would suggest the Alhambra Roja (; )
Make sure to explore the town because it is quiet but absolutely beautiful

Wanted to stay but a local told us it was closed weekends, or this weekend, IdK which.

El Cantero definitely deserves the high praise it has been getting in these reviews. It’s a lovely restored building that was well designed as an albergue with lots of intention. Clean bathrooms with place for washing, loads of charging areas, lovely hosts and great little terrace and bar. We made a reservation but saw they still had plenty of space, which was great after seeing how crowded Puente de Reina was. So glad we stopped here!

I came from Uterga and arrived in Mañeru around noon, which was the perfect time to have a very delicious vegan paella from the bar there! So glad I stopped!
