Camino De Levante
10.5 km, 15 m up and 15 m down, through 0 places. Where you stop is up to you.
Every place on the path in order, with the distance from Silla. Most are too small to sleep in — a fountain, a chapel, a bar that may or may not be open — but they are what the day is actually made of.
Leaving Silla, the camino follows a country road through flat agricultural land to Almussafes. The profile is flat all the way to Algemesí. After Benifaió, it's farmland again — rice paddies, orange groves, and the open sky of the Valencian plain.
Almussafes has a Moorish tower — one of many watchtowers that dot this stretch of the Valencian coast, remnants of the medieval Muslim defense network. The town has basic services. There's accommodation here if you want …
Distance, climb and descent are measured along the GPS track for this camino — 54 recorded points across this span, the same track the app carries. The town-to-town figures in my data put it at 10.5 km.
