We are making our journey back to SJPdP and we’re pleasantly surprised after walking nearly 4 kms that this was open for a coffee and a snack. The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming. Coffee was great.

Amazing location and views
spoilt by poorest ‘welcome’ we experienced on two Caminos, hence also no information on eating there as they simply didn’t speak to us (even though we manage fine in Spanish). Add: hard beds & non-functional wifi.
All would be so easily fixed.

Es spricht nichts dafür hier zu buchen. Die Zimmer sind uralt und müffeln, und der Rest ist auch nicht einladend.
Also, lieber noch ein paar Kilometer dranhängen.

Hostal Santa Maria do Poio is a dump. Basic accommodations if you must stay. Below average food, very tired room, $16 euros for washing and drying, and WIFI inoperative. Keep walking.
