Pilgrims on the road and friends along the way send me changes every day, and they go out the same day. The Camino Francés app carries all of it offline, and it's still being built — new features arrive routinely.

One of my favourite albergues on the Camino! Cristal takes great care and the house has such a good energy. She also offers massages and a group meditation. I highly recommend! Also the bathrooms are more than fine 👍🏽

Sure this place needs a little love, and the bathrooms weren’t “beautiful” - I recommend closing the unlockable, or broken door, with the seat that was inside the shower to get more space.
The kitchen was large, and had beautiful wood and yellow combinations, and if I could, I would help Cristal organise the cupboards. That’s where I did some writing. And, thank goodness she had a kettle!
It was the first time I wasn’t given a bed and pillow cover, and that felt homey to me. I wasn’t concerned about bedbugs. I’d been using blankets from alburgues themselves.
What I especially loved was Cristal’s meditation class. If you take the opportunity, despite the language barrier, or broken English, learn the meditation with open eyes, and manifestation - I will use these in my practice. She also provides massage services. She is a spiritual maven.

I stayed here 4 June 2025. The bedrooms were fine, the kitchen is well equipped and the volunteers amiable. However, the bathrooms are appalling. They are moldy all up the showers, doors and on to the ceiling. The floors, although mopped, are black with ingrained dirt. Sadly they are a serious health hazard.

After 18 km on the Roman Road variant from Calzadilla de las Hermanillos, it was wonderful to arrive. The showers were powerful and hot, the dorms upstairs. Not much going on, Elvis Bar shut but a great kitchen upstairs to make your own meal, including stove top and microwave. I certainly recommend especially at 8€ for one night.

Big rooms, man and women devided. Which for us turned out great, we were just 3 in a room for 20!!
This albergue /town seems to be quiet even if the Camino is busy👍👍

I would not stay here! When I checked in, I was not given a mattress cover or pillow cover. When I looked at the beds, they looked very dirty and had signs of bedbugs!

Quite stacked bunk beds leading to a multi-person sleepover.
The upside is the kitchen which had all you needed to master your own tortilla or microwave your favourite packaged meal.
Bathroom was well laid out and bountiful.
Los hombre also runs the supermarket (which you’ll find coming into town for the road route. It’s the other side of town for the scenic route.) You can buy cheese, meats & bread and also eggs and soap and some other essentials.
All in all, a good use of €8

Simple, bunk in middle of room are adjacent. Shower had great water pressure and ample changing area.
