Loved my stay here, Noy is friendly & welcoming.
Had single bed on 1st floor, unfortunately toilets etc on floor below. That could be a problem for those of us who get up several times thru the night!

And only €12 - unfortunately no card machine

Shower was cold, rooms too. Was a cold, rainy day and would have been nice to have a fire or a heater, but hospitalero was gone and nobody could help.
Think, there are nicer places in Astorga to stay.

It was my last night (for now !) on the Camino and what a wonderful evening we had in the communal area
We all chatted, Noa lit the stove so we were cosy, all the time doing the washing

Yes it is old, but the welcome is more than enough!

June 5: As always the welcome is warm, and the old building charming. Hospitalera Noe went above and beyond any requests. Took care of the washing & drying and clothes returned folded! Suggested good restaurants one wouldn’t otherwise find. Opposite the Cathedral and Gaudi’s palace.

I really liked staying here. Noa was so helpful and friendly and we had the most special meal at the wonderful restaurant two doors down.
The building is old and squeaky but it was a great experience. The location was fantastic

What a dive. Walked in after a long day and had a cold shower. Are you kidding. Complained and told to wait an hour. The last thing I will do is shower again. Clearly the system does not have the capacity to meet demand. Beds crammed in together such that only one person can fit between two beds. Dormitory on the second floor…..bathrooms on the first floor. Go figure. Everything about this place is old and tired.

Plenty of space , bathrooms and showers for all. Water pressure was great. Kitchen very useful. I want to come back in winter and read a book by the fire and eat chocolate!

The only think is soundproofing between floors, so people going to bed late or waking up very early might disturb the others. Nice dorms

It’s right on the Camino and so convenient to the city .
My bed in the loft should have hit the rubbish dump about 10 years ago! Super super soft so pick a bed under the roof side ! Terrible nights sleep and it was a hot night.

Nice courtyard and foot bathing area .
Tiny shower stalls and no where to put clean clothes etc. But that’s not unusual.

The location of this was great for the cathedral and Gaudi Palace. The kitchen was well set up, and the dorm room in the attic was well set up. The host only speaks Spanish, but it's ok.

This was in a great location to the cathedral and Palaci de Gaudi! The kitchen was well stocked with utilities, and there was a good supermarket within easy walking distance. The attic dorm was nice and clean, with plenty of blankets, although they were a little scratchy.

The host only speaks Spanish but he is nice and very helpful. There is a good kitchen with big dining area. I enjoyed my stay here - the only downside is that it is a little bit noisy.

2/11/22 - Closed until April, even though it says open until December.

I've enjoyed this place 4 times over the last 15 years! First visit, great! Second visit, they helped to arrange my dad on a convenient floor due to a knee injury, great! Third visit, said hello like old friends, and my mother stayed here for a week for an infected blister while dad and I walked. They made her right at home ♡! Fourth visit - feels like family! Love the 3rd floor, warm in the winter once the night kicks in, and with great blankets! Showers/toilets on the second floor, and great kitchen for large meals!

I arrived with a swollen eye due to allergic reaction to insect bite! Maria, the hospi, immediately called for doc appointment and drove me to the Centro de medico where I was seen to immediately, given an injection and advise by the doc. The dorm were great, cool and quiet, good showers and cute garden with tranquil foot bath and stools. #caminoangel #blownaway

Don't know what's gone on in the past, but had a wonderful stay here. Right in the middle of everything, I stayed an extra day to see it all. The courtyard is set up with a soothing foot bath fountain. It's open and welcoming with water and fresh fruit available upon arrival.
