JUST AMAZING!

The owners and volunteers were so warm and welcoming. They greeted us like family. The beds have sheets, they supply towels, soap and shampoo. I was surprised that the price for the bed also included laundry. The living/dining room was super cozy.

The best meal so far along the way, great dinner and breakfast. They have free filtered water and you could also buy other refreshments, practical when everything is town is closed.

I highly recommend and would come back.

Best Albergue on the Camino

This albergue exceeds all expectations. After a long day of walking you can finally relaxt and completely let go. The hosts immediately make you feel welkome and at home. You feel in every detail the love for the Camino and the pilgrims. The hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful and take care of everything you need. They set an atmosfeer which makes it easy to relax, be yourself and connect with other pilgrims. The dinner is a delicious home cooked meal and the breakfast is the most extensive I have had on the Camino. This Albergue was by far the best Albergue I stayed at and a treasured memory of my Camino❤️

Look for your name on the welcome board !

An amazing place with an amazing hostess who welcomes you into her home.
Get the dinner and breakfast as the food was delicious and the table is set so elegantly, you feel like you are a VIP guest. Imagine our disbelief when the hostess said that she will do the laundry for us free of charge. Stay here if you can.

A smashing place

Didnt stay in the Albergue but stopped to have a coffee and lovely home made apple pie. Fantastic to meet Kasia and got such a friendly vibe from her that I feel no one should miss the opportunity to stay. Hope to stay there another time.

A big and warm heart, don’t miss it!

Thijs, Gepke and Chrissy couldn’t have been kinder, more welcoming and helpful - I had an issue with my foot, and they went the extra
mile. The albergue is warm, and comfortable, and you even get a proper towel and extra blankets, all a sign of who these lovely caring people are.It is well worth planning your walk so you can staying over.

Probably the best albergue I stayed in.

This is probably the best albergue I have stayed in. The host lady is very nice and friendly. The place is nice and clean. The dinner was very good. I highly recommend this place if you’re doing Primitivo and happen to stop by here.

19. June 2025 - 21:13

Stay here! Eat here!

After 3 weeks travelling the camino norte and switching to the primitivo, this has to be the best albergue I've stayed in yet. A warm welcome, beautiful home cooked food, a fridgefull of beer, and a lovely quiet location with just the sparrows to provide the background soundtrack, and the cats mooching for entertainment...
Well worth the short extra trek up the shady path by the stream, and it's a bit less to do tomorrow...
Stay here! You won't regret it!

One of the best

This has got to be one of the best Albergue’s I have stayed in. The Dutch hosts are wonderful and so helpful. They really went the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we needed. Nice spacious and well thought out accommodation. The evening meal was lovely, good food and the host made sure we were all looked after. Would certainly want to come again.

Be sure to stop here!

I can't say enough good things about this place! Dinner and breakfast were provided as well as coffee and tea. This was a great experience to meet other pilgrims and relax in the common areas. Hosts are amazing! You can buy little artesanias (journals, bags, soap savers, headbands) made from recycled materials that make great souvenirs! It is donativo and well worth visiting!
