Albergue Jacques de Molay

What a lovely family-run albergue! All beds,no bunks. There is a well with a pump full of ice cold water that is great for soaking tired feet. Lovely grassy garden. Delicious homemade pilgrim’s meal (3 choices for each course). Marisa, the proprietress, is such a warm and caring person. She saw me struggling to drain a blister, and she came out with gloves and iodine and tended to my foot! Her daughter Maria is also an absolute ray of sunshine. This place is a must-visit!

Sewage system seemed overwhelmed. The place was full though and it’s end of season.
Pilgrims meal good. Fair value.

Lovely staff, tasty food, decent rooms. All perfect until night time. Never in my life have I experienced such creaky floors! Along with the lack of sound proofing, I got very little sleep due to hearing every creaky door handle, every footstep on th creaky floor, everyone going up and down the stairs. Worst night of sleep all Camino so far.

Wow this place is special. The dinner menu had three options for each of three courses as well as bread, water and wine. 14 € was a great deal. It did not bother me that the toilets and showers were shared by men and women after all we do this at home. I was in a room with three other ladies and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This is my 3rd time here. Staff/hosts could not have been friendlier or helpful. An oasis. Highly recommend.

Just had a great stay here. The hospitaleros were really kind and helpful. It’s not too big and has a homely feel. They’ll do washing for you and there’s a handwashing area too. Great pilgrim dinner and a lovely courtyard area to chill and chat. The showers look a bit dated, but they worked well. Blankets were provided if you were chilly in the night. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed here on April 25, 2024 and had stayed there in 2017 as well. We were in a room with 3 beds, relatively quiet, some noise from the hall leading to the shower. Upstairs showers were being renovated at that time. Older property but clean. Nice people and a decent restaurant/bar. No heating issues while we were there, I’d definitely recommend.

I was in a room of 4. The place had unisex showers snd toilets. There was NO heating at all. It was the worst night on the Camino. Lucky if I had slept an hour. If you stay there in spring or summer, be prepared there’s not heating or aircon!
Not a place I recommend

I paid 10 eur for a bed and 12 eur for a dinner (cards accepted). I slept in a room with 6 beds, but there was only 3 electrical sockets/plugs.

Loved this place! One of our best experiences so far. All the staff was so nice, beds were comfortable, dinner was amazing!

There's not a whole lot to do in Terradillos, so staying at Jacques de Molay was a great oasis. Nice courtyard, early dinner that started serving at 6:00 pm. Rooms were fine, but very sparse amenities.

The staff here were some of the most accommodating, helpful people that we have encountered on the Camino. Helped accommodate my allergies at dinner and even put us in the living room when all beds were full (actually super private and comfy!). Highly recommend.

Nice cafe stop two hours from Calzadilla (taking longer route). Was open at 9am.

A pleasant stay as always. Good and plentyful dinner. Recommended.

No bunk beds, pleasant garden, but the icing on the cake is their fabuolous dinner with lots of wine. Definitely not to be missed. A pearl on the Camino. Alexwalker
