Love this albergue

In this town it’s either the albergue or the hotel. Eduardo runs both with cheerful aplomb. Pilgrims dinner is worth it—no where else to eat in the town.

Great Albergue! Great Owner!

Stayed in the bunk room. Good space for gear. Owner Eduardo works the desk. Showed us to our bunks and let us shower before checking in. Allowed us to run a honor system tab for drinks and snacks at the bar before dinner. Has a pool and a nice private grass yard with a lot of art work. Pool was nice to soak our feet in. Also has private rooms. Pilgrim dinner was fine. Nothing else in town for food. Nice lounge at bunk room. Good bathroom space. I would stay here again.

Lovely pool!

Gorgeous, chilly pool great for soaking tired feet. Dorms and washrooms were basic and clean. There is no kitchen or fridge, but you can get hot water from the hotel next door (same owner). Pilgrim’s meal was lovely and full of camaraderie. Eduardo is a workhorse!

Recommend en el camino

Room was quiet, about 20 people but didn't feel like it. Two showers and toilets to be shared between genders, the shower walls were very thick so I couldn't use my s hooks which was annoying. Pilgrims menu was filling and we all sat on two long tables so got to meet heaps of people. Menu was marked with allergens, gluten free options available. Eduardo was so lovely

100% RECOMMENDATION 10/10

This was the best accomodation I stayed in during my time in the Meseta. The host was absolutely extraordinary, remembered all of our names (6 people) and always made us laugh and smile! The dinner was the best pilgrims meal I’ve had along the way, and incorporated all pilgrims around the tables. It consisted of your choice of soup, a main meal of chicken, beef or fish, with vino (wine) of course, and a dessert. There was also a bar that was open all afternoon until closing, and the restaurant was also open for lunch and afternoon, until dinner time.
I stayed in the part of the albergue where there was a huge outside area, which was absolutely beautiful! It had a swimming pool, but had not yet opened for the summer season (stayed in April). There was washing machines, dryers, and you could also hand wash and hang on the line in the outside area. There were so many beautiful colours in that area, and I spent majority of my afternoon relaxing outside. The dorm room had multiple bunk beds, which were extremely comfortable, and a blanket was included. The bathroom was mixed gender, with a few showers and toilets. There was also a shared living room with a couple of couches and tables. In the main section was a hotel where you can get private rooms, and another part of the albergue up the top of the hotel which had multiple single beds. The whole place was very homely which made our stay very enjoyable.
Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend staying at En El Camino during your journey! You won’t regret it!
Buen Camino!

Highly Recommend!

One of my favourite stops on the Camino. Eduardo goes above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This family run business is a little gem where you will be genuinely welcomed and have all you need and more.

No pillow cases

Great to have linen sheets on the beds, but no pillow cases as apparently pilgrims bring these themselves?!? So caution using the pillows, they are probably not hygienic

Just okay

Stayed here with my husband for a night. Was the only women on a dorm of all men.
There is no hand soap at the basins in the bathrooms and when asked for some was told this was not provided. There is no bracket on the wall for the shower rose so have to hold it in one hand whilst showering. The toilet doors are opaque, so no privacy! The lower bunk beds have very little head room as the top bunks are very low. Can’t sit up in bed at all. Not the best stay!

1. September 2025 - 18:31

No better than okay.

14 euros for bed and 14 euros for dinner.
Beds old style creaky metal bunks.
Food slightly better than the usual fayre along the Camino.
The shared toilet / shower block is poor.
Don't expect privacy.
A few hooks in the showers would be useful.
Wouldn't stay here again.

Albergue x Resort

I loved staying here! The bunk beds were fine. Sheets were clean. Plenty of toilet paper. The host was really friendly and the restaurant staff were helpful (there is a pilgrim menu for both lunch and dinner). The garden was literally an oasis and the pool very refreshing! I never found a kitchen. Had one of my best sleeps here! Lots of people said the food options in Fromista were lacking and wished they had stayed here instead.

Fine stay

Very short bunks - with my knees bent they almost touched the bunk above me! Communal dinner was very good. No toilet paper in any cubicle when we arrived, but this was replaced when we asked. Friendly, helpful hosts.

31. May 2025 - 15:49

So so

Friendly host. Only ok dorm. Sheets not clean but i had a paper one with me i had taken from last albergue. Think you could buy paper ones from reception. Very short bunks to make room for more beds in loft area. 2 toilets for more than 20 beds. Only about 12 people last night in main dorm thankfully but toilet paper ran out over night and none to replace it. No soap. For €14 expect to have soap and toilet paper

Nice

Nice albergue friendly and efficient host. Pool unfortunately not open but they are currently cleaning it so guess it will be open in couple days

The best outdoor hangout area on the Camino

The picture must be old because it doesn't do it justice. The Alburgue has an amazing outdoor lawn area with beautiful artwork. A lovely place to spend the day. Eduardo is great, he has a fun personality, and works hard trying to get everyone what they need.

There is also a restaurant. The staff there is okay. The young waiter is great, but the other gentleman can come off a little rude...but I think it might just be the language barrier.

There's not much else to do in town, but hanging out on the lawn with a book was just what I needed.

Love this place! Stayed 04/09/2024

Absolutely loved this place! Eduardo is so kind and hard working! He carried my bag to the Albergue room for me. Loved the whole vibe of the Albergue! Dinner was amazing! The pool was so nice to rest your feet in and relax. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Lovely stay

Eduardo works hard to make everyone comfortable. I saw him go out of his way to solve problems for a couple of struggling pilgrims. Excellent stay.

Wonderful stay

The Albergue was wonderful. PowerPoint next to the bed. Large showers. Had a big pool that was a welcome bonus after a long day. Edwardo was awesome and friendly. The pilgrim dinner was a must with amazing food and plenty of it. Check in at the hotel and edwardo will escort you to your bed.
